Loving the layered look of potted plants on top of the natural wood console. The tall potted palm to the left adds a hint of drama. This space looks fresh and natural. [Image Source]
This happy window was styled by none other than the fabulous Emily Henderson (you MUST see the rest of this space and read the heartwarming story behind it). She mounted brackets and glass shelves in front of the window to display various potted plants. The result is cheerful and bright without being too cluttered.
The pair of potted fiddle leaf fig trees create balance and symmetry in this cozy space. They add just enough green without taking up too much space by being too full or bushy. [Image Source]
For a more minimal / modern look, go with potted succulents and cactus. The bonus with these types of plants: they require little water, which is perfect for those of you who can't keep a plant alive to save your life! [Image Source]
Again, succulents can add the right touch of green, especially if you're limited on space. The single potted succulents on this cocktail table are so cute! [Image Source]

ReplyDeleteWonderful collection of examples! I myself am on the prowl for a "tall" house plant, (2 meters) I have yet to find it! Who knew tall plants would be hard to find... Those fiddle leaf ones look perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love all these houseplants and the rooms featured look gorgeous. I've already written a note to myself to get some more indoor plants! Thanks so much for this inspiration.
ReplyDeletePlants really do look great inside but youve just got to pick the right ones! Im a big fan of the succulents they dont need much light or water and coming from a black thumb they are impossible to kill!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration! I've had a snake plant for years that I intermediately neglect & it has still thrived. It really anchors the room. They're also a great air detoxifer!
