My Very First Baby Shower

Last weekend my mom, sister and two best friends threw me a fabulous baby shower brunch! I chose the color scheme of turquoise and orange and they took it from there. They did a wonderful job and made me feel so special with the attention to detail on everything. It was truly a day filled with family, friends and joy. I kept thinking to myself, is this really my baby shower? It's hard to believe that in just 9 short weeks, I'll become a mother! Here are some snapshots from the shower...

{I love a great pair of heels and couldn't resist rocking these fun fuchsia suede pumps, big belly and all!}

{The table settings were adorable and the Owl Sugar Cookie favors were made by my sister Nicole, who runs a little side business called Awesome Sweetness Bakery. She makes the cutest cookies AND they taste amazing (it's our mom's special recipe, with homemade frosting and all)}. 

{Little bowls were filled with peanuts and orange & blue M & M's - the perfect combo of salty and sweet! Refreshing glasses of Strawberry-Lemon Soda were served (this photo was not taken at my shower, image credit here)}

{My best friend Michelle made the centerpieces, which turned out amazing. Orange and white roses in a vase wrapped with palm leaves. Simple and beautiful.}

{Me with my besties, Erin & Michelle. I've been friends with these girls since the 2nd grade! Needless to say, we've celebrated everything together through the years. It was such a blessed day and I'm looking forward to finally meeting the little guy growing in my belly. Thanks for letting me share my day with you!}
