Pantone describes the color in these words: “Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”

I love this color. You are so right -- it definitely warms up a space. I love the accent of a tangerine table lamp or a piece of framed tangerine artwork. Makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteLove tangerine in any room! That dining chair is so great and love the velvet chair as a pop in the first room!
ReplyDeleteI'm swooning over that Trina Turk pillow. I love bold pops of tangerine (and thanks to a recent DIY project, I now have a pop on my walls!)
ReplyDeletei've been really drawn to this color lately too. so fresh and energetic. love it! i'm refinishing a chandelier, but turning it into a candelabra. i'm toying with spraying it (it's metal) that color. would be so fun for summer. enjoy your weekend julie!
ReplyDeleteThe second picture of the bathroom is fantastic! Also in love with the 4th pic... Thanks
ReplyDeleteI want to add orange, I really really do, but it doesn't mix well with the array of colors I already have going...raspberry red, greens, teal, yellow...maybe i could keep trying?! It's so cheery.
