Shades of Gray
I woke this morning to the soft sound of rain outside my bedroom window. It's been in the 80's the last couple of weeks here in southern California, so to finally have a rainy day makes me smile :) It's finally feeling like fall! With so many shades of gray in the sky on days like this, I decided to do a post on the beauty and simplicity of gray interiors. How do you feel about the color gray? I just painted my bedroom grey! I absolutely love it, but am struggling to pull it together in a feminine way. I'm doing white and grey and debating doing a few baby pink accents here and there. After looking at some of your pictures though I'm thinking I might do a darker grey to offset the light colors I have going on now! Thanks so much!

I'm very much into gray for my house right now. Those are some great images. I really like the 3rd picture with the turquoise chairs.

ReplyDeleteI'm totally into grey and I've got it in my living room (pale grey), my dining room (very dark grey)and my bedroom (pale grey with a darkest slate grey - almost black - wall). It's my favourite neutral and these images are fabulous. That grey & white striped headboard is AMAZING. Gorgeous pictures xx

ReplyDeleteNice post for such a rainy day. Loving all your pictures. I'm a little surprised that the neutrals and grays have really caught on. When I first saw what Restoration Hardware was doing I wondered if it would really be successful. I just did a small law firm for a female attorney. We used gray and Tiffany Blue paint and mostly Restoration Hardware furniture. It is very pretty.

ReplyDeleteWe're building home and want to do gray. Can anyone give the colors of gray they have used? We have about 6 to choose from now but none seem to be quite perfect yet.
