Accessories 101: Decorating the Fireplace Mantel
For those of you fortunate enough to actually have a fireplace and mantel to decorate (which I don't, YET...), there are endless ways to arrange accessories and hang art / mirrors. I've rounded up several snapshots of accessorized mantels that range from minimal to eclectic and everything in between. What's your preference when it comes to accessorizing the mantel? What do you currently have going on with your fireplace decor? ***It's hard to believe that another week has gone by and we're quickly headed toward Thanksgiving - it will be here before we know it! ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I had a fireplace in my apartment after pictures like these. I am a huge fan of a unique, detailed mirror with a pop of color, depending on the color scheme of the room. Great inspiration!

These rooms are gorgeous! We do have a fireplace and mantle -- it was one of the things I didn't want to compromise on when we bought our house -- and these are great decorating ideas. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI love that mirror in the first picture! Right now, I have an old stained glass window propped up against the mantle. And two vignettes on either side with vases, hurricane lamps, and heirloom crystal candlesticks.

great examples! love the first one and last one! I do have a fireplace but sadly the t.v. is above it! there was no other place to put it.. so there is not so much I can do!
