Fashion Inspired Interiors from the Runway
Inspiration for interior design can be found anywhere, especially in fashion! I pulled 3 looks from Spring 2011 New York Fashion Week and paired them with interiors that reflect their color palette and style.What do you think about these looks? What inspires you in color and design?
Oh wow, I saw the first image and immediately thought, 'that's a bit too bright for me' but when I saw your interpretation, not only was it spot on, but it's GORGEOUS! I love this post, really inspired, it's making me think about bright colour in a whole new light x

ReplyDeleteI love the last picture pair! I really like the idea of drawing inspiration from fashion. I've even drawn color inspiration from fashion for flower beds- if colors work as a print, why not in the home and in the garden? Great photo inspirations!
ReplyDeleteTotally with ya on the room to wardrobe (or vice versa) looks...I don't know how many times I've been stumped on what to wear and simply visit client mood boards for inspiration! I usually turn to Miles Redd or Kelly Wearst. for all the bright and bolds :D
