    I love love love that quote.. and seriously, I cannot stand boring rooms where people are afraid to do anything interesting because "they won't like it in a couple years."

    So you opt for the neutral boring room that is no fun at all, even for those two years? Lazy bums that won't put in the work or effort to redo rooms..

    Ha, enough for my rant.

    what a great quote! good advice for life in general too ;]

    i'm loving that room with the pink and orange and the black fireplace. the black fireplace is so unexpected, and yet it fits so well.

    i feel inspired now to give my apartment a much needed makeover!

    I really love Steven Gambrel's Manhattan apartment. The blue glazed walls are lovely!
    And yes, decorating choices need not be for life!
    Walls can be so easily repainted and repapered...why sweat the small stuff?
