Happy Friday! What an amazing week it's been...I spent Monday and Tuesday up in LA at the first annual Design Bloggers Conference, followed by a cocktail garden party Tuesday evening, hosted by
Traditional Home Magazine. The party was held in celebration of Trad Home - a brand-new online magazine created by
Traditional Home and the editors of
Lonny Magazine! The first issue will be published online in May and again in September of this year. I'd love to elaborate on the conference and all of the exciting ideas, tips, and opportunities I learned about, but it will have to wait until next week. I'm coming down with a cold and am not feeling so hot today - definitely not a good way to end such a great week :( Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend! I want to thank you all for visiting my blog and for your thoughtful comments. You're the reason I continue blogging, week after week, year after year! xoxo - Julie
I could kick myself for not taking any pictures of the conference! I left my camera in the car both days :( I managed to snag these snapshots from a couple other bloggers. Top left & bottom right images of
Cassandra LaValle of Coco+Kelley,
Grace Bonney of Design Sponge,
Tracy Porter and
Paloma Contrares of La Dolce Vita & Founder of High Gloss (images courtesey of
I Design Love blog); Bottom Left image courtesey of
Joe Ruggiero.
I did manage to snap a few pics of the adorable Almont Yard in West Hollywood, where the cocktail party was held. The fabrics are all from Trina Turk's latest collection for Schumacher. I die!!!
