I wanted to share this
lovely home I discovered via
House Beautiful, which was designed by Paige Schnell and Doug Davis of
Tracery Interiors. They did a fantastic job creating a traditional look that's fresh, current and timeless. The neutral color palette is accented with pops of hot pink, which adds a flirty and playful feeling to the home. Notice how even just a small arrangement of pink flowers adds just the right amount of color to an otherwise neutral room (like the dining room). I'm usually not a fan of white walls but they suit this entire home and are what keeps each room from looking dated. Enjoy the tour and have a fabulous day!
{The ceiling detail and wall paneling in this living room are to die for!}
{The art above the console is actually a framed piece of wallpaper}
{Mixed dining chairs - I'm loving this look more and more}
{What a refreshing change from the usual single barstool!}
{I'm such a sucker for anything with a silhouette- this could be an easy and inexpensive art idea}
{This bathroom is simple, elegant and a classic. The toile folding screen is what really makes this space so gorgeous!}
The bathroom is my favourite - so inviting!
ReplyDeleteI'm also smitten with the silhouettes. I have been building a collection that has yet to find a home. I love this home. The kitchen is especially gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm in love with everything they do!
ReplyDeleteIt is very pretty, but I would like to see just a little more colour :)

loving the kitchen and dining table...traditional with a twist
ReplyDeletesuch a gorgeous home! I love all the neutrals and how even the smallest hits of colour really stand out. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Tracery group is so talented. This space is absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAll the walls in the house I grew up in were white (and had a stenciled border and green or gray or khaki painted woodwork thanks to my mom's "country" phase in the '80's). I've been rebelling against white walls ever since...maybe wrongly so. They do make the room look so crisp and bright. Bonus if the walls have lots of architectural interest.
ReplyDeleteI love the serene feel and quiet energy of this home. Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeletemany thanks for your kind post about our work...this home was a very fun project for us and we're so glad to finally be able to share it with everyone! all the best from everyone at Tracery!
