"White is my signature...in all shades from milk to cream to taupe. I don't try to match; I just layer them. White is crisp and clean, allowing other colors such as gray-blue, burnt orange, and greenish-gold...to stand out. I'm fascinated by the way even a little bit of color can create a big impression."

Hello there! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty mellow, considering I'm just now FINALLY feeling better from this horrible cold virus that's been haunting me for nearly 2 weeks! And beware - it's been traveling like wild-fire to so many people I've talked to (starts with sore throat, then sore neck muscles, then horrible cough, congestion, and zero energy). I'm so sick of hot tea with lemon and chicken noodle soup! But thankfully, I'm feeling almost 100% back to myself and couldn't be happier on this Monday :) I'm rejuvenated and excited for a busy and productive work week. I wish you a happy (and healthy) week as well!
Love that blue tabletop - so fresh! Hope you had a smashing weekend, Julie!
ReplyDeleteThat last picture with the different coloured bannister railing is just *amazing* - such a simple idea, and it adds great character.
ReplyDeleteI am working on a loft presentation. The color story i the same as the first lime /green living room. i am really loving these tones...perfect for the grey winter skies
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better! I loved all the photos in this post, especially the banister railing in the last photo! Great post!
ReplyDeleteLove the quote =) and OMG trippy staircase rail (is that what they're called.. I'm new to stairs. haha!)

So glad you're feeling better. I just started coming down with something which is going to stink because I have a beauty blog, kinda hard to post makeup looks when your nose is bright red hahaha.
ReplyDeleteI had the same virus! I'm still working on getting over it. Luckily, I've got the energy back and I'm down to just a cough.
ReplyDeletethanks everyone :) glad to be feeling normal again!
