I love makeovers! I've blogged about makeovers many times before - everything from DIY furniture updates to full interior design overhauls. I will never tire of seeing a sad space that appears to be hopeless, transformed into a shiny new one that makes your jaw drop. Today I'm featuring several fantastic makeovers from
Canadian House & Garden (except #6, which is from one of my own projects :). Enjoy and please share your thoughts on your favorite re-design(s) and/or what you think makes the biggest difference in transforming a space.

These are so fun to look at. Your makeover is unbelieveable. You almost can't tell it's the same room! I'm about a day or two worth of work away from having my kitchen & dining makeover complete. I will have to send you the pictures when I'm done and see what you think!
ReplyDeleteLove that basement! I just love to see before and afters! The first hallway pic though i kinda prefer before!
ReplyDeleteWow, what differences! I like before and afters. Often it must be not so dramatic to achieve a significant change.

ReplyDeleteAhh! I looove before and afters!
ReplyDeleteThe basement one is amazing. Basements can be so hard to work with. And, you own project (#6) is lovely. I like how you changed the frame around the windows. It really softens the room.

i love before and after pics. i actually just posted some before and after pics on my blog today if you want to see them. i think the easiest thing that makes the most dramatic difference is a coat of paint, new curtains, or adding a large mirror or other wall hangings. a room can look completely transformed even with the same furniture sometimes. i love #6 that you did too! the shelves are great. we're about to build floor to ceiling shelves in one room that is like 18 ft. tall. wish me luck!
ReplyDeletewow gorgeous. I love your taste! Don't have my own place yet - but someday I'll require your expertise.
ReplyDeleteWow love those makeovers, they are amazing!
ReplyDeleteAll things nice...
