Rope Inspired Decor
Who knew jute rope could look so chic?! There's just something about using this rugged, age-old material in home decor that adds interest in an unexpected way. It's a great way to introduce texture into a room and adds a casual touch without making a space feel "nautical" or themed. I love the way designer Thom Filicia used thick rope in lieu of a traditional stair rail (directly below). How fantastic does that look? What do you think about rope inspired decor?

Love your creations and ideas.. Really, really awesome..
ReplyDeleteI love the rope accents, it's such a classic nautical look that can be incorporated into almost anything! I especially love the glass bowls with the rope wrapped up inside, that could be something that could be replicated relatively inexpensively!
ReplyDeleteNice rope projects! I linked this to my project: rope post today too, well done!
