Okay, so maybe we didn't actually have dinner with Kate Spade...but we did with her gorgeous china! My husband and I have been married 3 years now and I can count the number of times we've used our china on one hand. Tonight's menu was simple: grilled chicken breast (marinated in 1/2 bbq sauce, 1/2 terriayaki sauce), steamed french green beans, baked red potatoes, and a buttered french roll. Instead of the usual plain white C&B dinner plates we use, I thought, why not bring out our china?! Dishes are made to be used, right?! The simple, elegant design made our food look extra delicious and made me feel a little "fancy" - it was great :) We followed up with dessert right out of the ice cream container - some things are just better straight from the source - no dish required. xoxo - Julie

Lovely! Ours are still in the boxes (and we're almost married 2 yrs) but we're waiting for a new house before busting them out. Dinner looks so special though on your beautiful plates!
