Tray Chic
I've been obsessing over trays lately - round, rectangular, square...metal, lucite, wood - so many options to neatly contain your stuff. You can quickly change a messy looking tabletop to a stylish and tidy surface. I have plans to place a tray in my bathroom to hold perfume, lotion, jars of q-tips & cotton balls; in my dining room with bottles of liquor, wine and barware; and maybe on my kitchen counter set up as a little coffee bar. Okay, that sounds like a lot of trays but if I mix up the styles, I think it should work out. Below is a snapshot of the tray on my coffee table. What are your thoughts on this mini-trend?

Oh I absolutely adore this look..I feel inlove with a round aqua blue metal tray that a waiter came out with one time when I was having a sunday brunch with the girls...so much so that I asked the owner if he would sell it...and he did..for $15..bargain...yet I still dont know what to do with it..yet?
ReplyDeleteI love trays, but I think I prefer them on larger surfaces than a small coffee table.

I love trays, I have a bunch in my house. I just think they not only neaten every thing up, they look pretty & add interest! xo

i love the idea of trays. currently i don't own one, but would love one asap! they appear to not only group items but frame them in sort of an installation, making little every day things, turn magically into little pieces of art. oh so very cool! :)
