Bliss Living Home Trend Boards
Bliss Living Home has such gorgeous trend boards! Each board represents their latest collection for each season. One of my favorite things to do when beginning a new project is create a design concept / inspiration board. As you can see in these examples, you can use any object, photograph, textile swatch, etc. to create a board that shows off the overall look and feel for your vision. Do you ever create trend / inspiration boards...for design, fashion, or anything else? What inspires you when beginning a new project (whether it be personal or professional)?

These are really lovely Jules. I'm about to start a design course so I expect I'll have to come up with a few of these. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love that company, they have such cool and lovely products. I wish you a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI love the second inspiration board! Its so diverse in its inspiration,it can convince the unfortunately uncreative like me otherwise :)
ReplyDeleteI think most women create mental inspiration boards when we get dressed, especially for special events. Everyone is different but we all have a starting point, for some its shoes, others jewelry. I wonder if most designers stick to the same starting point as well..
mood boards are so inspiring, and if they are so gorgeous they make me happy
ReplyDeleteWell, Julie Thigpen, this is absolutely awe inspiring, these boards. As a jewelry designer this is exactly how I work...spreading out a variety of stones, findings, elements and then deciding how it all works together. As a fashionista, yes...very definitely...lay everything out, adding, taking away, put in a bit of whimsy, and voila, you're done! Fab post. Love the browns & blues. FYI: I'm having a wonderful giveaway this week...1 of my pieces of jewelry, let the world know please. xx's Marsha
