Festive Tabletop and Decor Ideas
My husband and I are hosting our 6th annual Christmas party on Saturday. While we usually do an intimate sit-down dinner at one long dinner table with close friends, this year we've decided to switch things up and have a cocktail party. I'm a little relieved that I don't have to come up with a dinner menu for 20 people and can instead, focus on appetizers and festive cocktails. And of course, we can't forget my favorite part of the whole party-planning process - the decor & color scheme! I've rounded up some fresh ideas on centerpieces, table settings and decorations for inspiration - so many great ideas to choose from! What about you? Are you hosting a holiday party? Do you have any ideas or tips on decorating or entertaining guests? Please share!

I always have red roses on my table at christmas but I'm really inspired by the pic you posted. Is that red and white striped candy around it? I'm going to try to figure out how to include candy in my bouquet this year now!
ReplyDeleteFantastic Jules, I cannot wait to see the pictures!!
ReplyDeleteChoose a color palette, and keep it simple. Offer up just a few very special drink selections and dishes. Then enjoy your guests!

ReplyDeleteGreat collection of pics - I especially adore the "touches" of colour as opposed to an over the top red or christmasy scheme - really nice!!
ReplyDeleteOhh the candy cane flowers!! How clever.
ReplyDeleteI believe your guests will be highly entertained! I dig the colours you shared here, dig'em lots, so very inviting! That picture with the hanging cookie cutters is genius, never would have thought of that. Thanks for sharing your ideas!
