"The easiest approach to any strong color is to use a lot of it, thus unifying a room. However, beware of too many strong colors unless you happen to like living on a battlefield."
- Van Day Truex

these images made me happy. to be so daring to use pink like that. love!
ReplyDeleteOoh, the turquoise-esque blue!
ReplyDeleteI love bold colors-- but could not live with them I'm afraid. I love a bright fiery red, but in large quantities, it gives me a headache to look at.
Oh, I love that orange sofa!
ReplyDeleteThat orange sofa is amazing! You don't happen to know where it's from, do you?
ReplyDeleteThe purple bedroom is fabulous - and the blue trim is wow!
ReplyDeleteThese colors bring a smile to my face....they are like sunshine!!
ReplyDeleteInterestingly enough...all are lovely and I don't know which one I'd choose...
ReplyDeleteLove your spot here :-)
blessings...lylah
ooh, love these spaces. the hot pink one might drive me to drink after a while :), but that turquoise wall is drama and pleasing all at the same time. love. love that quote too!
ReplyDeleteGreat interiors, great quote! Especially love the "purple" room.
ReplyDeleteNice blog :)
i love that quote! i have blue teal walls in my bedroom... a VERY strong colour but chose to go with golds, whites and creams in furnishings and furniture... and it looks good! (well, as good as it can get!) my husband was envisioning sleeping in a Thomas Train interior, but with these French-esque mix... it looks nothing like Thomas' set! :)
ReplyDeleteabsolutely love that mirrored cabinet in the bathroom & that mural/wallpaper matched with that rare colour of blue and that purple room just oozes sweetness! lovely post!
