I know where my next vacation is going to be - at Les Ormes Campground in France! Owned by a husband and wife team, the couple envisioned building an open family campsite where everyone would feel welcomed as a house guest, and where they could live peacefully away from the city to raise their children. "At the heart of large forests and fields, you find the pure French countryside, the villages of very nice houses, market-friendly and typically regional castles, in a word a part of France where time seems to stand still." Each authentic African tent, ordered via the Internet, has a kitchen and living room and were decorated on a budget with finds from garage sales and flea markets. The husband also built many of the tables and beds by hand from planks of timber. The wife cooks meals every evening - colorful salads, fish du jour, vegetable kebabs - for everyone to enjoy. This place is a casual and relaxed way to experience camping, without having to "rough-it" too much, but enough to where you feel like you really are camping! My kind of trip :) Article and photos found here. Enjoy your weekend!

What, there is a piano in one of the tents? That's fantastic! Maybe I should move my studio to a tent, that would make me the most famous piano teacher in town!
