my hand is up, way up!
ReplyDeleteright now I have everything in a couple of shoe boxes. It's such a mess I almost never wear jewelry because I just can't look at it!
thanks for these ideas.
Great ideas - I'm always trying to think of a new way to store jewelry!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pics Julie!! I store my jewels in little pottery bowls! Very similar to photo "d"!! I'll take a photo of them and will send them to you :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to find a good solution to this issue that I think about almost daily!
ReplyDeleteOverall I like the "tree" idea, because I want to be able to see everything, but it's just not big enough. I would ulimately need about 5-6 trees, but that just seems strange.
Please let us all know if you find a good solution!
good point about the mulitiple tree issue! you certainly don't want a forest of jewelry trees :) anyone have any better ideas for additional storage?!
ReplyDeleteThe antique tea cups are brilliant. Delicate and eclectic.
ReplyDeleteThank you!

I like the AT solution because it's practical and the teacup solution because it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteoh I love love love the tea cups idea. Utilizing two collections at once! Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteD & E are my favorite ideas! at the furniture store i work at, we carry a manufacture called BoConcept from Denmark & they're great! they have a tree as a acessory of some sort but I kinda just want to get it as a jewelery hanger! check it out on my blog! youre inspiring!

I am really loving the teacup idea. Definitely adds to the jewel-box feel.
ReplyDeletethe tea cups is a great idea!! I use some clear boxes from MUji but I hate to find something for the necklces love the idea to hang them on the wall!
ReplyDeleteMy collection has actually expanded beyond the cute pottery barn tree and anthro hooks where I keep things. I love that West Elm box and only wish it wasn't 89!
ReplyDeleteMy fave is the drawer full of saucers and teacups---mostly because it would be an excuse to start a collection of pretty vintage cups!
ReplyDeleteLove this post! I was lucky enough to stumble upon a great piece of manzanita wood with a ton of branches at a garage sale... the perfect organic display for the jewels.
ReplyDeleteWow !I can't beleive you started a post on the question I asked you! I actually can't beleive you've answered my question. I'm smitten!
ReplyDeleteAbout the tree , yes I agree not very practical if you have loads of stuff like me , and the cups are cute but also require space ....I'm still thinking of it. I have alot of great stuff which I spent millions on , but I can't see them so they barely get used.
I always keep my jewelry inside the jewelry box, and I don't want to see anybody what I have unless I put them on. If I had a store it would be great idea with the racks to show them.

Like the rest, I love the tea cup idea! Of course, I'd still need more storage to hold the tea cups... I've always liked the idea of using vintage door knobs or cabinet pulls on the wall to hang necklaces.
