Could you live with this much color?! I think I could - it would definitely keep me energized and stimulated. I admire Doug Meyer for his brave use of color - he didn't hold back and that's why this home looks so amazing. If you're going to do something bold, you have to go all the way, otherwise it could lead to disaster. You also have to carefully edit your design choices and color combinations to make sure everything comes together cohesively and doesn't end up looking like a hodge-podge.

A Home Bursting with Color!
I just received my June issue of Metropolitan Home and gasped when I turned the pages and saw this incredible home featured. It was designed by Doug Meyer who's a "Miami-based designer of rugs, outdoor furniture, fabric, tile and interiors—who is also a sculptor, a painter and an installation artist (whew!)—does not often come to a full rest, even at home. “I love to have things to look at,” he says. “I need to be continually stimulated.” To read the entire article, click here.

I love that they kept the same flavor on the outside as what we enjoyed on the inside.
