The use of semi-precious stones and natural materials in the home is a refreshing change from the overuse of all the coral, glass and "synthetic bling" we've been seeing the past few years. According to
Traditional Home, we are seeing more "turquoise backsplashes, rock crystal chandeliers, mica lampshades, lapis-trimmed tables, tigereye countertops..." The use of these beautiful materials gives the impression of timeless elegance and sophistication. The colors are to die for and there's something a bit magical about incorporating jewelry inspired elements into your home decor.
