I want that fireplace!!
ReplyDeletei've been trying to convince my boyfriend that striped rugs are the way to go, but he hasn't caved in yet. great rooms here!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS room shots! Love the third one down. So airy and serene...
ReplyDeleteOh lovely interiors with those great pops of black!
ReplyDeleteI quite agree! I have a large, five by five, IKEA bookcase in our living room! It classes up the joint!
ReplyDeleteThat fireplace is gorgeous, and I love that white buffet against the wall. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree - I love a little black here and there. The white buffet is wonderful. And it looks like your party went great too!
ReplyDeleteI think black is a great neutral to ground colors, add a common element, and add a touch of sleekness to a room.
ReplyDeleteFive years ago, I took the bold step to randomly add zebra print to my home. I was kicking and screaming as my friend pushed me towards it but was I did it, I was AMAZED at how it added a fun element to my decor.
ReplyDeletei must admit i don't have much black but am intriqued by the space it creates. it seems to clean up spaces just by the color. i rent my little cottage so transformations will have to come once we buy a house. great post giving us all lots of ideas and making us want to run to home depot and buy them out of black paint!
ReplyDeleteI am broken between the fireplace and white grand piano. Great blog!
