"Voting is a right that, throughout history, many have fought for and sacrificed everything to achieve. It’s a right that people continue to fight for and that millions of people throughout the world still do not enjoy. As Americans, we have the great privilege to live in a free society
and voting is the right that makes us free."

ReplyDeleteI am on my way to vote now!
callie
already cast my vote in early voting. love the graphics you found.
ReplyDeleteYes to every sentiment expressed here! I just got back from voting and was happy to be amongst those in line when the polls opened. Proudly wearing my sticker too, and also proud to say that I helped register a friend who is 25 and voting for the first time. We're so blessed to be able to vote.
ReplyDeleteI happily waited in line for an hour this morning...I still feel so anxious though. I have this nervous feeling in my stomach that just won't go away. Go Obama!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have not been this excited about an election since JFK
ReplyDeleteran -- I was just 12 then but his words meant so much to me then -- and how he included the youth-- and it was our job to be good citizens. Keeping our head in the sand doesn't work as we have all learned...
VOTE WITH YOUR HEART.... go Obama

ReplyDeletethis is the most important election i have ever voted in. (i've only voted in four presidential prior to this one)
i am so glad we live in a country where our vote counts. i can not imagine living where they are not allowed to, or worse, where they are, but the voting process is just a cover.
