Get Inspired!

~Decor Inspiration Vignette~
Vintage Glam

The inspiration behind this space was the Amy Butler fabric (top left). I loved the pattern and color combination so I drew my design concept from it. Color scheme: muted golds, fuchsias, dark mocha brown and crisp white. Furniture finishes & accents: white lacquer, dark walnut and accents of gilt gold.

Resources: 1) Fabric Amy Butler Nigella Twill Water Lotus Forest - $14.98/yd; 2) Devon Mirror - $149; 3) Santee Sioux Pillow - $54; 4) Gold Festival Pillow - $128; 5) Jasper Table Lamp - $535; 6) Cinchwaist Iron/Glass Table (Arteriors Home); 7)Savoir Chair in Sangria Fabric - $899; 8) Jacqui White Chest - $1,525

***I plan on creating many more of these inspiration vignettes in the future. What color schemes and or design styles would you like to see?***

  4. This is a fabulous little collection, brilliantly edited! I've been lusting after the Savoir chair in that color for a while, and you've incorporated it here perfectly...

How bout a vignette featuring French grey and mustard yellow? I'm loving that combo lately...if you want, let me know if you do one and I'll do one too, and we'll see what we both come up with!

  8. To ms. Julie Thigpen

Yours is an eye-pleasing website. Being an interior designer you arrange the words in your writing, too, in a charming manner.

If you wish to see the Paintings of Ancient India, the cave paintings and miniatures, then a visit to my blog would please you, I hope.

  10. Love that chair! I can't seem to get enough pink these days. I'm wearing a color very similar to that chair right now! Someday I'm going to get something like that and just plop it in my living room. :)
