Book of the Week: Lulu by Lulu De Kwiatkowski

I was reading the Design 100 list in this month's Metropolitan Home and when I came across #46, my heart skipped a beat! It's the new book Lulu by artist Lulu De Kwiatkowski. Described by Met Home as "enormously colorful and energetic, so totally larger than life, that we give it the joie de vivre award for sheer affirmative exuberance." Get a glimpse of her fantastic autobiograpical collages featured in this book...

A little about the author; Lulu is an acclaimed designer that is well known for her textile line, Lulu DK, in addition to being the purveyor of fine furniture, fabrics and wallpaper. She has a background in painting, textile design and the decorative arts. This book displays Lulu's autobiographical, handmade collages, which are a blend of her paintings, drawings, photography and writing. I can't wait to get my own!!! 3. I have to say that the very first photos remind me of design school... did everyone have to paint those colour theory rings?
